The Adventure:

Dogs are picked up from your home and exercised for a good one hour plus in a group environment. They are out and about and gone from your house for a good 2 hours. Dogs are then returned home exhausted and happy. We take the dogs to Crissy Fields, the Presidio and occasionally the headlands of Marin. The dogs run, romp and have fun. They get all their energy out so they return home quiet and tired for the rest of the day. Dogs are returned clean and toweled off.

Dog Adventures is an off leash service. We abide by the leash laws and are considerate of others on the trails or at the beaches. We always pick up after each dog.

Dog Adventures Time Slots:

Dog Adventures offers 2 different time slots for your dog walk. Some of our dogs go on two walks a day for a half day outing, some go on a morning walk and an afternoon walk and some just go on one walk a day. Each shift consists of an hour plus of dog walking time in addition to the time to and from the walk.

9am to 11am

11am to 1pm

Dog Groups:

Dog groups consist of 6 dogs. We take all types of dogs – big, small, young and old. All dogs are interviewed and screened as we only take dog friendly dogs. You can be assured that we do not take aggressive dogs and all dogs are dog friendly.

Dog Adventures Service Areas:

We specifically serve the following areas of San Francisco: Pacific Heights, Presidio Heights, Marina, Cow Hollow and the inner Richmond.

Prices

Puppies (Pre Shot):

We do offer taking your puppy out before he or she gets all their shots on a group walk in a puppy bjorn. It does not work for every puppy but most seem to love to watch the other dogs play and romp around. The puppy rides in the front seat and away from the other dogs. The puppy will then be put down to pee and poop but then quickly put back into the puppy bjorn which straps on to the dog walker's front with the puppy looking out at the other dogs.

The puppies that we have taken in the puppy bjorn make a fantastic transition to the playgroup and seem much more confident about being around the older dogs.

Pictures and Videos:

We do take pictures and videos on the walks that we will send to you periodically so you can check out your dog’s friends and what kind of adventure he or she is going on. And of course there is the annual Christmas card picture that all clients look forward to each Christmas.

Training and Other Information:

Dog Adventures is not a training service. You can be assured that your dog is with other well-behaved canines. We do reinforce commands on our walks, making sure everyone is playing respectfully with each other as well as listening to their dog walker. We bring good treats to reinforce good behavior.

Cancellations:

Please make sure to call the day before by 7pm to cancel your walk for the day to avoid being charged. Any changes or addition walks needed should be made the day before by 7pm. Thank you!
